Let's face it. It can sometimes be frustratingly difficult to find a specific taxpayer based on their tax records, which may not even include the name of the business as it's generally known. Franchised and other small businesses often have seemingly unrelated LLCs or even the owner's name on their tax permits.

Since ZacTax 2.0, search has been one of our top priorities. And although we've offered lightning-fast, typo-tolerant search for a while now, it's still possible to click on a search result that turns out not to be what you were looking for. Then you have to start your search all over again, and that's no fun for anybody.

So today, we're introducing a new feature called Search Preview. With Search Preview, you'll see a preview of the search result before you click on it.

Each data type has its own customized preview with relevant information.

• For sales taxpayers, see their revenue generation and locations in your city.
• For geographic regions, see how much you collect and the boundaries of the region.
• For sales tax benchmarking, see the other entities you're comparing against.
• Etc...
